Our mission.

Kolosowski Strategies was founded in 2025 with a clear philosophy: good data leads to good decisions.

We combine public opinion research with economic analysis to help organizations pursue the right strategies to achieve their goals.

Polling methodology summary.

Kolosowski Strategies conducts its research using an online panel of Canadian residents aged 18 years and older. The panel's respondents are recruited through online advertisements. Respondents are never compensated for their participation in the polls.
 
To ensure a representative sample, polls are weighted by demographic variables.  These may include age, sex, income, geography, political affiliation and others.

Our commitment to responsible research.

Transparency:
When publishing a poll, Kolosowski Strategies will always disclose:

  1. Who, if anyone, paid for and/or wrote the poll that was conducted.1

  2. The dates on which the responses were collected.

  3. The sample size of the responses.

  4. The unweighted demographics of the sample.

  5. The criteria used for demographic weighting of a question's responses.

  6. The method of response collection (e.g. online, IVR, live caller etc.)

  7. Our name.


Privacy:

  1. If any personal identifiable information is collected on respondents (e.g. names, email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses), it is not disclosed publically, to clients or business partners.

  2. Responses are anonymous. Although personal information may be collected while recruiting respondents, it is not tied to the responses that a respondent submits.

  3. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to participate in our research.

  4. The principle of data minimization is used to ensure that only necessary data is collected on respondents.

  5. Participation is voluntary and passive data is not collected.

  6. In the event of an identified data breach, we would contact all current and former panel members by email, informing them of the details.

Security:

Although there is always a possibility of untruthful responses being submitted, we take several steps to limit the scale of false responses and spam, which may include:​

  1. The use of unique URLs to prevent links from being shared.

  2. The expectation of unique email addresses for respondents.

  3. The expectation of unique IP addresses for respondents.

  4. The implementation of various anti-spam software including CloudFlare and CAPTCHA screening.

  5. Not providing any incentives (e.g. payment) to respondents.

Respect:

Kolosowski Strategies values the importance of a vibrant and competitive polling industry. We recognize that differences in opinion and methodology between polling firms are a natural and positive factor in the industry. As such, we do not publicly comment on research conducted by other firms.
